In June 2002 addendum No. 1 to TIA/EIA-568-B.2 discussing Transmission Performance Specifications for 4 -pair 100 ? Category 6 Cabling was approved. This document contained specific Category 6 de-embedded NEXT loss ranges that modular test plugs must meet. Fluke Networks responded to these new specifications by developing the PM06. The PM06 is a shielded personality module that complies with modular test plug requirements. Infra+ appreciates Fluke Networks’ continued efforts to make standards compliant permanent link testing possible. Infra+ has full confidence that the Fluke DSP-4000 series tester used with the DSPLIA101 Universal Permanent Link Adapter and the Personality Module PM06 is a standards compliant permanent link testing solution for both shielded and unshielded installations. Fluke Networks’ Personality Module PM06 will replace any previous Fluke Networks’ Personality Module as the approved module for testing of the 7700GU unshielded Jack Module and 7700GE shielded Jack Module. These products will all be tested to the TIA Category 6 Permanent Link limits.
