Hoisting Stocking Grips
Updated 23 February 2011
Pulling coaxial cable into position has never been easier with these Hoisting Stocking Grips. Hoisting Stockings provide a reliable cable installation method which ensures neither the external cable jacket, foam dielectric or centre core is damaged during the hoisting process. These stockings are re-useable time and time again. The stocking is laced around coaxial cable over a 30 cm (1 foot) length. The single or double eyelets allow a high pulling force with the least amount of stress to the coaxial cable.
Order Code : HS7850 Hoisting Stocking Grip for 7/8” Flexible Foam Dielectric Cable, Non-magnetic tin coated bronze, single eye, split mesh, lace closing.
Order Code : HS1250 Hoisting Stocking Grip for 1/2” Flexible Foam Dielectric Cable or 1/2” Super Flexible Foam Dielectric Cable, Non-magnetic tin coated bronze, double eye, split mesh, lace closing

Bird-Proof Stainless Steel Braid
Updated 24 November 2011
Birds gnawing at your antenna feeder cable can cause serious problems eventually resulting in system failure. The most effective solution is to feed vulnerable sections of cable through stainless steel braid which will provide the ultimate protection against all such bird damage. The braid ends can be secured with stainless steel hose clamps. Stainless steel bird-proof braid is highly flexible and will survive long term in the harshest of environments. ÂÂ Stainless steel braid 6 mm in diameter will suit RG58, RG59 and other smaller cables. The Order Code is 7860. ÂÂ Larger 10 mm diameter stainless steel braid is suitable for protecting ½" flexible foam dielectric, RU400, RG213 and similar size coaxial cables. The Order Code is 7860-2. ÂÂ To protect 7/8" flexible foam dielectric coaxial cable, use 22 mm diameter braid. Order Code 7860-3. This braid is available in either cut lengths or a full 25 metre roll.

Snap-In Cable Hangers Packs of 10
COAXIAL CABLE and FITTINGS Updated 27 November 2011
Available in Packs of 10, stainless steel Snap-In Cable Hangers provide a simple and secure method of installing 7/8" and 1/2" flexible foam dialectric coaxial cables to a tower or mast. ÂÂ SHC7850 is the Snap-In Hanger to suit 7/8" cable. ÂÂ SHC1250 is the size suitable for either 1/2" flexible or 1/2" super flexible coaxial cable. These hangers are easily pressed over the coaxial cable jacket which is gripped tight by the curved internal fingers with no slippage.
Available in Packs of 10
SHC7850
SHC1250
Next, squeeze the curled snap-in fingers, insert the hanger into a 3/4" (19 mm) hole and release the fingers. There are three typical installation methods : 1. Where there are 3/4" holes available in the tower structure, simply insert the Snap-In Hangers into those holes. The tower member can be between 3.0 and 3.4 mm thick.
2. Where there no holes available, or the tower structure is thicker than 3.4 mm, then order stainless steel Angle Adaptors which bolt to the tower. Then insert the Snap-In Hanger into the Angle Adapter.
3/4" hole (19 mm)
3. Where the coaxial cable is being installed up a round mast, then order Stand-Off Adaptors which are secured tight by a strap. Then insert the Snap-In Hanger into the Stand-Off Adaptor.
6542 Stand-Off Adaptor (available separately)
Angle Adapter (available separately)
The Snap-In Hanger fingers securely lock the coaxial cable in position and resist side-to-side movement in high wind conditions. They are specifically designed to eliminate inadvertant “pop-outs” due to excessive galvanised or rounded edges on tower members. The stainless steel construction of these Snap-In Cable Hangers ensures a long service life in the most extreme weather conditions and highly corrosive environments.
Stand-Off Adaptor clamps for these snap-in cable hangers are available to order separately. Constructed from grade 304 stainless steel, the order code is 6542.

PVC Cable Hanger Clamps Packs of 10
Updated 23 February 2011
PVC Cable Hanger Clamps are a modern solution to install 7/8" and 1/2" flexible foam dielectric coaxial cables neatly. Multiple runs of coaxial cable can be stacked in space saving configurations of one, two or three parallel rows. Each compact PVC Hanger Clamp holds one run of cable. It is recommended a clamp be placed at one metre intervals. The internal cable-gripping ridges press into the cable jacket to provide firm support in heavy wind and ice loading conditions. The two piece clamps mount to threaded rod with nuts and washers. (Not supplied.) The rod can screw into the threaded hole of either a Cleat or Angle Adapter.
It is important to select rod with the correct thread size :
1. If mounting these PVC Cable Hangers to a Cleat, then you will need M8–1.25 threaded rod. 2. If mounting to Angle Adapters, then use 3/8"–16UNC threaded rod. Available in packs of 10, these cable hanger clamps are manufactured from a durable UV weather resistant polypropylene which exceeds the recommended temperature parameters for coaxial cable.
M8–1.25 threaded rod will screw directly into a Cleat.
3/8"–16UNC threaded rod will suit an Angle Adapter.
Please note that threaded rod, nuts and washers are NOT supplied with packs of PVC Cable Hanger Clamps.

Angle Adapters Kits of 10
Updated 23 February 2011
When installing 7/8" or 1/2" coaxial cable into position up a tower where there are no holes available to fit Cable Hangers, then Angle Adapters will provide the ideal solution. Available in Kits of 10, Angle Adapters bolt directly to a tower member up to 22 mm thick. They lock into place with toothed jaws and the 5 cm square head 3/8"–16UNC set screw bolt supplied. There is no need to drill any holes. The Angle Adapter offers two methods of mounting different Cable Hangers: 1. Insert a stainless steel Snap-In Cable Hanger into the 3/4" (19 mm) hole in the Angle Adapter. There are two 3/4" holes available, one in the back and another in the underside. 2. If using traditional Cable Hangers or threaded rod, then an insert, spring washer and shorter 3/8"–16UNC bolt is also supplied for fitting those to the Angle Adapter. This is a heavy duty, high strength mounting solution. The stainless steel construction of these Angle Adapters ensures long term survival in the harshest of weather conditions and highly corrosive environments. Kits include 10 stainless steel Angle Adapters together with the appropriate number of bolts, washers and inserts. The Order Code is ANGLE-AD. Angle Adapters bolt directly to a tower member up to 22 mm thick.
If using traditional Cable Hangers, then an insert, spring washer and shorter 3/8”–16UNC bolt is also supplied for fitting those to the Angle Adapter. Insert a Snap-In Cable Hanger into the 3/4” (19 mm) hole.

Cleats Packs of 10
Updated 23 February 2011
Cleats can be used to mount Cable Hangers to a tower. The Cleat bolts onto a tower member up to 22 mm thick, either flat or angle iron, and is securely locked in position by the 35 mm long M6–1.0 Hex Head Set Screw. There is no need to drill any holes. A Cleat offers two methods of mounting different Cable Hangers : 1. Mount PVC Cable Hanger Clamps to M8–1.25 threaded rod with nuts and washers. This size rod will screw directly into the matching M8–1.25 threaded hole of a Cleat. 2. If using traditional Cable Hangers, then secure these to Cleats with short M8–1.25 bolts and spring washers. There are two M8–1.25 threaded holes available in the Cleat; one in the back and another in the underside. Cleats are constructed from metal alloy.
