Zone Player The Zone Player adds tremendous value to any Fusion system by allowing the user to pull another discrete movie stream from a Fusion server. Connected to the server via a gigabit network, the player can be either rack-mounted or placed directly in the room with the display. ZONE PLAYER FACTS: The zone player is an extremely compact, powerful media player for Fusion servers. The players are very energy efficient and quiet and each one adds a new discrete stream to your current Fusion server. HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN YOU USE?: The number of zone players that can be hooked up to a Fusion server depend on the server specified. (Note: players and servers must be connected via a high quality gigabit network.) Here are the current guidelines: Premiere Movie Server = Max of 1 player for a total of 2 discrete movie streams Encore Movie Server = Max of 4 players for a total of 5 discrete movie streams Genesis Movie Server = Max of 6 players for a total of 7 discrete movie streams NEW EPIC PLATFORM: Fusion has just released one of the most powerful movie server platforms on the market today. A completely redesigned user interface as well as a complete redesign of the core Fusion operating platform. Built completely from scratch, EPIC is a purpose-built embedded design that offers a much higher level of performance and reliability than typical media servers.
