It is a DIN rail mounted unit and must be positioned between a mains socket and an electric load - typically a home appliance. It features an external 70Amp current transformer to measure real time active power up to 15 kW, an energy counter and a digital output to drive an external high power relay. ZR-METER.D-HA measures active power and energy consumption. It can also switch on/off an electric load with radio messages. The device also features the stand-by killer function: it is possible to set a power threshold. When the appliance consumes less power than the limit, then it is considered in stand-by mode and the external relay will be switched off. The push-button can override the last relay command and manually activate/deactivate the load. ZR-METER.D-HA is directly and continuously powered. For network purposes, it acts as a repeater (actively receives and transmits radio traffic from and to similar devices) or “parent” device for battery-powered sensors.
